ABOUT US

Raised in the family vineyard of Bordeaux, France, Nicolas Palazzi first discovered cognac and cognac cellars with Pierre, Nicolas' grand father's best friend since 1951. Established in the village of La Nerolle, Segonzac, in the Cognac region of France, Pierre's family started distilling around 1702.  Eighty years-old Pierre is the 9th generation cognac maker in his family.

Over the years, as his mentor introduced him to small cognac distillers, Nicolas forged close relationships within the small "circle" of artisanal cognac makers. Through those friendships, he became able to source, taste, buy and accumulate small batches of very unique casks of rare, old eaux-de-vie.

As a true French spirits lover and having developed a passion for bourbon and whiskeys after living in New York City, Nicolas was eager to share the best of both worlds with spirits amateurs. In early 2009 he decided to make available to brown spirits fans outside the French borders the pure expressions of the rare cognacs he enjoys.

N.PALAZZI offers to cognac connoisseurs:

1/ the cognacs from two small families - Guillon-Painturaud and Paul Beau - artisanal distillers based out of the Grande Champagne area, known as the first of the Cognac region's six growths.

2/ the Paul-Marie & Fils cognacs: Nicolas Palazzi's own brand.

Nicolas hand-bottles the single casks of old and rare cognacs he acquired over the years. The finest single barrel, cask strength, unfiltered, pure expressions of old cognacs on the market.

N.PALAZZI also provides its esteemed customers with:

- a hand-tailored cognac service, sourcing unique and rare cognacs for collectors.

- private cognac seminars, tastings and dinners.
